Holding Logo loop and transition animated for the event fanfare and side screens during dinner and recess from stage acts. Was also used on the 4 screens on top of Absa Towers in Johannesburg CBD the day of the event.
I modelled Madiba's cell using the Google Maps 3d Tour of Robben Island, Cinema 4d & Redshift. Then created the prison corridor where 11 cells were used as a backdrop for 11 Languages spoken in South Africa, each door was animated to opened separately so as to allow an actor to walk out on to stage and be lit by the Audio-Visual crew. Ending in a transition move going through the hall and the middle cell's window to open up to the Transkei landscape where Nelson Mandela was born and grew up.
